George is married with two beautiful daughters, Alexandria and Madge. He and his family live in Willacoochee, Georgia which is conveniently located between his Douglas office and his new Valdosta office. George’s wife, Danielle, is the office manager and marketing director for his law firm. George’s daughter Alexandria is a 2012 graduate of Valwood and he hopes to send his four year old daughter Madge to Valwood in the near future.
George has been seen on countless television networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CW and Fox News affiliates around the nation. He has also been featured in major US newspapers, including a feature in USA Today. The National Association of Experts, Writers and Speakers nominated and presented George with a Media and Communication EXPY award in 2014. The Media and Communication EXPY is an award for those that have been recognized by the media, whether appearing on radio or TV, seen in newspapers or magazines for their work, or taken the next step and turned their knowledge into education for the public, communicating that message through CD’s and DVD’s, online training or some other form of media that communicates their message.
Since 2010 George has concentrated his practice in the areas of DUI and Criminal Defense. The area his practice covers is the entire Southeastern region of Georgia. Senior Associate – Chad R. White
Chad White is an experienced criminal attorney and an integral part of Team McCranie. He is a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee. The oldest son of a Georgia state law enforcement officer, he grew up in Dublin and Brunswick. Mr. White has over 20 years of military service, and he and his wife are both veterans of the war in Iraq. He served in various combat arms assignments beginning as an enlisted infantryman, a cavalry scout, as well as being an Executive Officer of the Abrams Tank Company before joining the Army JAG (Judge Advocate General) Corps. He has worked as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, so he has insight into both sides of the criminal court process. Working at the George McCranie Law Firm as the Senior Associate allows Mr. White to fight for justice for both our criminal and military clients. Mr. White is in charge of Criminal Defense Litigation in both Civilian and Military Courts.
General Manager – Danielle McCranie
We appreciate you wanting to know more about us. I am Danielle McCranie, George’s wife. I started working at my husband’s law office in 2008. As office manager, I am the Director of Client Relations and Operations at the firm. My goal is to ensure that clients understand the legal process and receive the high quality care and attention that they deserve. I am also the marketing director here at McCranie Law Firm. I feel fortunate to be a part of such a caring and knowledgeable legal team, and we have become like an extended family at the McCranie Law Firm.
George and I are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters. We enjoy taking trips with our girls and creating lasting memories. Believe it or not, we enjoy working together. People ask me all the time “is it hard working with your husband?” I always laugh. I tell them one of the things I do to break up our day is when George gets home I greet him as if we have not seen each other all day. I feel fortunate to be able to build a business and a life with him.
Cherry Plair – Senior Criminal Paralegal
We are excited to have Cherry Plair as a member of our Team McCranie! Cherry comes to us with thirteen years of experience as a paralegal. She will be handling our criminal cases with the professional courtesy that our clients expect and deserve.
Cherry is married to Randall Plair and resides in Ocilla, Georgia. She is a Mother and Grandmother. Her hobbies include anything that consist of spending time with her family. She also enjoys mudding, hunting, and fishing.
Juanita Calvillo – Criminal Legal Assistant
Juanita Calvillo is a Criminal Legal Assistant for Team McCranie. She was born in Bakersfield, California, and grew up in middle Georgia. She lived in North Carolina for seven years, where she worked as an Early Head Start Migrant Interpreter in Taylorsville and graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory. Juanita is a mother of two beautiful daughters. While her children remain her top priority, she still finds the time to help those in need with her intuitive, courageous personality.
Karen Villalobos – Immigration Legal Assistant
My name is Karen. I was born in Chihuahua Mexico and moved to the US when I was 11 years old. I have a 6 year old son, and he is my main motivation in life. As an immigrant myself, I know the importance of having a legal status in this country. I like working at The George McCranie Law Firm because I feel like I am making a difference in people’s lives.
Maribel Sepulveda – Legal Assistant
iHola, me llamo Maribel Sepulveda! I am a Criminal Legal Assistant here at The McCranie Law Firm. I was born and raised in Moultrie, GA. I graduated from Colquitt County High School in May 2015. I cherish the time I spent in my small home-town very much and miss it immensely. I am attending Valdosta State University, and I am a junior, majoring in Political Science. I am highly interested in the topics discussed within political science courses such as: global issues, the role of government, our constitutional rights, and our rights as human beings in general. To work at a law firm that addresses some of these topics specifically is truly a blessing, one that I will be extra thankful for this turkey season!
Cindy Gonzalez – Immigration Legal Assistant
We are excited to have Cindy as a member of Team McCranie! Cindy is married to Renato Gonzalez and they reside in Douglas, Georgia. Cindy is originally from Mexico; however, she arrived in the U.S. in May of 2001. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. As a part of Team McCranie, she has started educating the community about our Family Immigration services that has recently been added to our already existing DUI and Criminal Defense practice.
Yurixa Moore – Case Manager
My name is Yurixa Moore. I am 24 years old and I was born in Cuba and moved to the U.S. with my family when I was three. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am married and have two beautiful children Kyan, who is 5, and Emily who is 3. I worked in the medical field since graduating from Coffee County High School. Now I will apply my talent of helping others helping our clients at the McCranie Law Firm. Helping others in their time of need is the most rewarding job a person could ask for and I am glad to be a part of Team McCranie!
Ricardo Huerta – Case Manager
Born in Mexico, Ricardo Huerta came with his parents and brother to the United States at the age of two. Growing up in Moultrie, he struggled learning to speak, read, and write English. After many hours of studying, he was awarded a Presidential Award from President George W. Bush. This was when, Ricardo’s parents realized that their families’ future was to stay and live in the United States. After High school, he attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. He then attended Southern Regional Technical College. In December of 2016, he graduated with a degree of Networking and Applied Science. Ricardo is now enrolled at Florida State University and is working on getting his Masters in Networking and Computer Science. Ricardo wants to give a big thanks to George and Danielle McCranie for the opportunity to work at the George McCranie Law Firm.
Neli Lopez – Customer Service Representative
We are excited to have Neli Lopez as a member of Team McCranie. She was born in Florida and moved to Georgia when she was 3 years old. She was an honored graduate from Atkinson County High School in 2014. After graduating, she attended Wiregrass Technical College and graduated with her associate degree in Phlebotomy in 2016. Neli’s biggest inspiration comes from her parents. She has always valued their work ethic and advice. They have taught her that everyone has rights and should be treated equally. Working at McCranie Law Firm will allow her to help the most people with criminal case or that are going through the immigration process.
